Manchester, United Kingdom - 28th June 2023: One Dimensional Creatures are proud to announce their debut single, Media Mass, is out now on streaming and download platforms. The single released worldwide today, 28th June 2023, with the official video launching on YouTube a week later on 5th July 2023. The single features two tracks, the explicit version of Media Mass, and a clean (no swearing) radio edit. Media Mass is a grungy, postpunk-infused track with lyrics that carry a message of a modern media-controlled society.
Singer and rhythm guitarist Ste Wilson says of the track “Media Mass emphasises the confusion felt by many in post-Brexit Britain, as politicians feed them lies upon lies through the mainstream media with fake news and reality often indistinguishable”. Media Mass has already been added to rotation on Hive Radio UK, Radio Wigwam, and Noisebox Radio, and gained plays on Lonely Oak Radio. The track has also been featured in 'Unsigned with Matt Wherry' on Future Hits Radio, and in Wayne Moseley's 'The Beautiful Indie Show' on Hive Radio. The track will feature on One Dimensional Creatures', yet to be named, debut album and will be performed by the band in gigs later this year.

About One Dimensional Creatures:
One Dimensional Creatures, aka One Dimes, are a four-piece alternative postpunk/grunge band based in Greater Manchester, UK. Ste Wilson (lead vocals, rhythm guitar, beat maker), Chris Tighe (lead guitar), and Ollie Chapman (bass guitar, backing vocals) have been friends since high school. During lock-down Ste wrote loads of songs about UK life and politics. When Ollie moved back 'up-north' from London the three met up for a post-lock-down pint. After hearing demos of Ste's tracks, they decided to form a band and 'One Dimensional Creatures' was born. The band searched far and wide for a drummer and recently struck gold when they added tub-thumper Adam Heap to their line-up making them complete.
