Manchester, United Kingdom - 10th February 2024: Manchester based political punk/grunge band, One Dimensional Creatures, are happy to announce their fourth single, My Noose, will drop on streaming and download platforms on 28th February 2024. My Noose opens with a with a clean picked guitar riff strengthened by a rumbling bass and deep sombre vocals. With a quick burst of feedback, the track explodes into a ferocious web of distorted guitars and manic drums. The lyrics personify the British Isles as someone that has been downtrodden and let down over and over again by the government. The in your face inequality has become their death sentence.
Lead singer and rhythm guitarist, Ste Wilson, says “With inequality growing in the UK and around the world we wanted to write a song that portrays how the richest few are strangling the working classes, the track has a real sense of anxiety and foreboding”. My Noose will feature on the band's, yet to be named, debut album, and they will be playing the track at gigs from now on.
