Oldham, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom - 5th September 2025: Oldham's own sonic agitators, One Dimensional Creatures, are set to unleash their blistering 14-track debut album, Tolerance Paradox on the 7th November 2025 with pre-orders starting on 5th September 2025. A searing fusion of alternative punk rock, post-punk, and stoner grunge. The album is a raw, unflinching critique of the neoliberal machine — confronting themes of wrongful wars, addiction, inequality, the racist bigotry surrounding immigration, and the hollow promises of late-stage capitalism. Distorted fuzzed-up guitars let rip over booming basslines that contrast the melodic vocals, angry background shouts give a feel of a street protest. The album is loud, raw and unapologetically alive.

Lead singer and guitarist, Ste Wilson says “We've been crafting these tracks over the past few years, fuelled by the political hellscape we're all stuck in — one that keeps getting dressed up but never truly changes. Tolerance Paradox is our way of pushing back, of adding our voice to the fight for real equality and justice, it's our refusal to stay quiet while everything burns”. The band will be playing the whole album live at soon to be announced launch events in central Manchester and Oldham as well as at future events.

Born in the static of late-stage capitalism, One Dimensional Creatures, are a four-piece alternative punk/postpunk/grunge band based in Greater Manchester, UK. Their music features heavy distorted guitars with flowing edgy lead lines and driving beats. Their punk-infused lyrics focus on politics and equality for all.
